Goddard Mason Executive Search is seeking a proven, experienced, and highly motivated individual to immediately join our client’s team as a Territory Sales Manager. Ideal candidate is a proven professional in commercial hard surface flooring sales. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying prospects to close new business as well as developing existing relationships.

Our client is a strong, growing wholesale supplier of luxury vinyl and other hardwood flooring that is based in Georgia with a presence in markets throughout the United States. The client’s founder and leader has been successful in previously owned ventures as well as for other major influencers in the flooring industry. His company vision invests in keeping a people focused, family friendly environment at the forefront that leads to motivation, value, and success on both the individual and corporate level.

What you will do:

· Develop and sustain meaningful relationships with new and existing clients within the territory.

· Monitor territory performance against established objectives & guidelines, adapting strategy as needed.

· Develop in knowledge of products, market competition, and implement appropriate sales strategies.

· Identify industry trends to gain new sales opportunities.

· Propose, quote, and/or make bids to existing, new, or potential clients.

· Travel to clients, trade shows, conventions, and other places as necessary.

What is required:

· Several years of hard surface sales experience within the flooring industry.

· Excellent communication skills to effectively interact and negotiate with internal and external customers and business contacts at all organizational levels.

· Critical thinker with the ability to problem solve.

· Ability to learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s business and product lines.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or is a plus but not required.
