Quality Staffing, Inc. is seeking Janitors or Housekeepers or Custodians to work through our agency as a contract employee for the State of Tennessee. This position is in the Nashville area at a local Mental Health Hospital. This is a 1st shift position working Wednesday-Sunday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM to start. After training, employee will be given a work schedule that will include 2 weekends per month. Pay will start at 17.00/hr.
Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, strips, waxes, and buffs floors by hand or by machine
- Cleans restrooms by sanitizing showers, toilets, cleaning sinks, washing floors and walls, cleaning mirrors, and emptying trash
- Cleans patient bedrooms, offices, and other hospital facilities by dusting furniture, vacuuming, and shampooing carpets, washing walls and windows, emptying trash, and straightening work areas.
Qualifications:
- Will be required to show proof of a TB test /can be done at the health department
- Will be required to get a flu shot during flu season (they will notify at that time)
- High School Diploma
