Quality Staffing, Inc. is seeking a FIRE PREVENTION COORDINATOR to work through our agency as a contract employee for the State of Tennessee in the COMMERCE & INSURANCE DEPARTMENT in Nashville TN.  This is a Part Time position for a total of 20 hours. Pay will start at $21.50/hr Will travel to various counties in Middle TN – this position will last until Sept 2020

Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

  • Will provide services to the following counties: Bedford, Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Houston, Marshall, Maury,  Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson and Wilson
  • Recover any unused fire safety or educational materials or supplies from local Fire Departments.
  • Contact local fire departments that register a smoke alarm save through the Get alarmed program to gather information about the incident to ensure compliance with grant reporting
  • Material can be sent via Fed Ex or picked up at the Fire Academy in Bell Buckle
  • Deliver all fire safety and educational materials, including but not limited to, brochures, handouts, Sparky the Dog Costumes, Fire extinguishers training props, Pop-up banners, and smoke alarms to local fire departments
  • Perform compliance checks at local fire departments that received smoke alarms as part of the “Get alarmed Tennessee” Program
  • Follow-up with local fire departments that have received community risk assessments: pop up banners, as part of the Close the Door program; or other safety or educational materials that require the submission of paperwork.
  • Help with the planning, logistics and coordination of and attend smoke alarm installation canvasses or other fire safety education events held by local fire department or the State fire Marshal’s office
  • Perform Smoke alarm installations for citizens that live in an area without a Get alarmed program-partnering fire department

Qualifications: 

  • Will need to provide own transportation/ Mileage will not be reimbursed.
  • Ideal candidate would be a firefighter that can do this on their off days or retired firefighter

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Resolve customer inquiries, including but not limited to: order status, product information, order processing, account status, sales programs, as well as product line knowledge 
  • Maintain small to medium accounts with low-medium complexity 
  • Process all customer orders received by: EDI, telephone, fax, email, and mail through order entry system (SAP) efficiently and error free 
  • Resolve complex and escalated customer issues, received via phone or email, with little intervention from Team Leads Review Delivery Due List (ZVL10C) for all customer orders in all plants to align with delivery requests 
  • Daily contact with cross functional team: Executive Sales Manager/Field Sales Representative/ Marketing/Production as to customer order status 
  • Answer any customer inquiries (fax, phone, email and mail).
  • Check stock, provide availability dates, provide freight quotes once processed through the Logistics Department, refer public to distributors in their area, or to our client’s website 
  • Ship samples as required by customers for product specials 
  • Collaborate with other company departments such as billing, credit, freight and transportation to solve customer inquiries 
  • Locate out-of-stock material for customers when required from other distributors 

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
  • AA or BA degree 
  • At least 1 year of customer contact experience, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – Email and phone etiquette

Maintenance Technician

Quality Staffing, Inc is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to handle the daily maintenance needs of our manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and able to assist and perform preventative maintenance in accordance with the preventative maintenance program. Candidates will also need to be able to conduct routine repairs to equipment that do no fall within the scope of outside contractors.
Candidates must be skilled in a multitude of areas including: gear boxes, motors, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics.  Also, candidates should have working knowledge of electrical and process control components including but not limited to PLCs, HMIs, and drives is preferred.

SUMMARY: 

This Client defines Supervisors as being responsible for safe, consistent daily operation of the production line. In addition, they are responsible for ensuring low waste, high yield, and the best quality product for our customers.  Supervisors will guide the production process and control process changes.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Responsible for ensuring that the overall work flow of the lines and process are met in a timely manner
  • Mentor and develop team members
  • Ensure that a high quality of housekeeping, safety and quality standards are maintained and improved in the area
  • Under the guidance of the Shift Supervisor, responsible for organizing and directing work and team assignments
  • Meets production requirements by following and enforcing productivity, quality, cost, and customer standards
