Quality Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Legal Assistant to work with TennCare through our agency as a contact employee for the State of Tennessee.  This is a day shift position working Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM with 1 hour for lunch for a total of 37.5 hours.  It is in the Downtown Nashville area.  Pay will start at 18.00/hr. Parking is included for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Timely management of all pending cases, including proper documentation and case resolution
  • Responsible for research/review of case information and document findings clearly
  • Required to make two calls to appellants a day seeking an authorized representative
  • Typing, proofreading, and formatting documents
  • Filing management skills for paper and electronic documents
  • Schedule management, note-taking, email organization and distribution skills
  • Using Excel to track actions on incoming/outgoing correspondence, both paper and electronic
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to send clear, concise emails and respond in a timely manner
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing work demands/tasks
  • Organization and attention to detail required
  • Fax, FedEx, Certified Mail, Print
  • Required to maintain confidentiality and security of documents.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant is Required
  • MUST be Proficient with building, updating, and maintaining spreadsheets (EXCEL), presentation software, and working efficiently in multiple data bases
  • Some College Required

  • Stock housekeeping cart with necessary linen, terry, tools, products and supplies and plan your day efficiently
  • Know the how and when of reporting room maintenance in order to work seamlessly with the front desk staff and other team members * Know the difference between ‘light touch’ and ‘full clean’ and showcase your best work in either situation
  • Vacuum floors and change sheets, restock or replace all room and bath amenities, anticipate the guests’ needs and respond to their requests to assure guest satisfaction (even if that means extra shampoo!)
  • Look as polished as the rooms you service with a pressed uniform, employee identification, safety footwear, and protective equipment
  • Clean, dust, polish and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
  • Change linens, make beds, and leave the bathroom sparkling.
  • Restock all guest room supplies, like soap and shampoo.
  • Organize your linen closet, restock your cart, and get ready for the next day, before your shift ends each day.
  • Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.

Welder Fabricator

  • Reading and understanding product schematics and assembly instructions.
  • Taking part in product development meetings.
  • Verifying dimensions and product specifications.
  • Ensuring that all the required parts for assembly are present.
  • Marking cutting lines on material.
  • Ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned and screwed in.
  • Ensuring that quality control standards are met.
  • Maintaining a production schedule.
  • Troubleshooting and stress testing products to minimize problems or recalls.
  • Reporting and detailing product malfunctions.

Creeler

Creeler

  • Creel yarn in warper creel in a manner that is safe, efficient, productive, and quality conscious.
  • Be able to use air splice and burn guns to repair creel breaks and pigtail yarn.
  • Understand tread-up for beam sets
  • Repair breaks as needed.
  • Strip creel, repack yarn to cases, and creel new lots.
  • Break down box parts and stack.
  • Maintain clean work area.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by management.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and employment/criminal background check.
  • Must have at least two years of experience as a creeler.

Heat Set Operator

  • Check work area at the beginning of each shift for any housekeeping or safety issues and report to Lead Person.
  • Check manufacturing work orders to verify the merge/lot, tube color, chalk mark, and type yarn being processed on the assigned.
  • Check creels for crossed yarn and transfer tails for good splices.
  • Patrol assigned machine (creels and winder), keeping each position creeled and verifying transfer tails are spliced properly on each position, checking the winder for chocks and improper winding.
  • Notify fixer of any position not performing properly.
  • Record each doff on the doff report.
  • Check each package of yarn loaded onto creel and each package doffed off the winder for quality problems and properly tie off tails.
  • Properly identify each package of yarn produced with correct label and chalk mark.
  • Change yarn on machine as directed by Lead Person.
  • Clean up waste and off quality yarn by properly identifying, weighing and recording.
  • Wipe off assigned machines and sweep area each day before shift ends.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Maintenance Assistant

Maintenance Assistant

Listed below is a list of duties and or responsibilities that the maintenance assistant is accountable for but it not all-inclusive. Additional duties may be added at the discretion of the management or owner.

  • Must be available by two way radio and/or cell phone at all times to assist with any issues that arise throughout the day.
  • Responsible for any maintenance issues on the property. If unsure of how to fix or solve an issue, he or she must seek advice from the chief of maintenance, and or management
  • Responsible for assisting with the safety, janitorial and general upkeep of the property.
  • Must be able to stand/walk/stoop/bend/push/pull continuously for up to 4 hours at a time
  • Have availability to be “on call” after normal hours in case of serious maintenance issues.
  • Fully understand we are a 24/7, 365 day a year business. Working weekends (Saturday & Sunday) is mandatory. In addition, some holiday work is required as scheduled.

General Duties:

  • Keep a positive, friendly, respectful attitude at all times. Be flexible and fully understand that our guests needs always come first.
  • Check pool chemicals. Ensure pool is in balance and is safe for guests to swim. Clean pool and pool deck area. (Training will be provided)
  • Get Trash Cart and get all trash from the breakfast area and all exterior trashcans and smoking outposts. (If requested or if breakfast is extremely busy, help hostesses remove trash from inside the lobby to outside trash cans)
  • Pick up all trash and debris in parking lot and throughout the property.
  • Water plants and flowers daily.
  • Check Service Pro maintenance system for work orders. Fix issues as required throughout the day. (If needed, ask the front desk or executive/lead housekeeper to provide you information on issues)
  • Spot mop and clean porches and walkways as needed. Ensure all walkways and breezeways are clean.
  • Shampoo carpets in 4-5 rooms before 2PM each day.
  • Check, empty, replace bags, and clean vacuum cleaners on housekeeping carts.
  • As time allows, work on on-going maintenance project list or as directed by maintenance chief or general manager.
  • Blow off and vacuum parking lot and porches.
  • Other duties as assigned by maintenance chief and/or general manager.

Typical working hours/days are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (1/2 hour for lunch). Sat., Sun., Mon., Tues., Wed., off Thurs. & Fri. (Days and hours may vary based on business needs). Some OT may be required.

Load raw material into press in a prescribed manner paying attention to weight and distribution of material for an even spread throughout the mold.
Monitor press operation to make certain lubrication, temperature, tonnage and cycle times meet operating specifications for each product. Report deficiencies to set-up.
Maintain a clean organized work area disposing of waste and trash to assigned areas.
Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Inspect stoppers and dink out defects.
