Quality Staffing, Inc. is seeking candidates for a Customer Service Representatives for the Greater Dalton area. This position is a 1st shift working Monday- Friday 8-5. Pay will start at $15.00/hr.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Resolve customer inquiries, including but not limited to: order status, product information, order processing, account status, sales programs, as well as product line knowledge 
  • Maintain small to medium accounts with low-medium complexity 
  • Process all customer orders received by: EDI, telephone, fax, email, and mail through order entry system (SAP) efficiently and error free 
  • Resolve complex and escalated customer issues, received via phone or email, with little intervention from Team Leads Review Delivery Due List (ZVL10C) for all customer orders in all plants to align with delivery requests 
  • Daily contact with cross functional team: Executive Sales Manager/Field Sales Representative/ Marketing/Production as to customer order status 
  • Answer any customer inquiries (fax, phone, email and mail).
  • Check stock, provide availability dates, provide freight quotes once processed through the Logistics Department, refer public to distributors in their area, or to our client’s website 
  • Ship samples as required by customers for product specials 
  • Collaborate with other company departments such as billing, credit, freight and transportation to solve customer inquiries 
  • Locate out-of-stock material for customers when required from other distributors 


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
  • AA or BA degree 
  • At least 1 year of customer contact experience, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – Email and phone etiquette 
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional departments including but not limited to Pricing, Sales, Administration, Logistics, Finance, Quality, Marketing, Distribution and Field Sales Force 
  • MSOffice proficiency 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals 
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Ability to type at least 30 words per minute 
  • Manufacturing experience with exposure to SAP, or equivalent, is preferred

  • Enter records in our Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) – including new hire information, benefits, compensation, time, etc.

  • Work closely with supervisors to ensure a sufficient labor force is available to meet manufacturing requirements and partner with local staffing agencies to fill open positions.

  • Assist the HR Department in projects as necessary.

Maintenance Technician

Quality Staffing, Inc is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to handle the daily maintenance needs of our manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and able to assist and perform preventative maintenance in accordance with the preventative maintenance program. Candidates will also need to be able to conduct routine repairs to equipment that do no fall within the scope of outside contractors.
Candidates must be skilled in a multitude of areas including: gear boxes, motors, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics.  Also, candidates should have working knowledge of electrical and process control components including but not limited to PLCs, HMIs, and drives is preferred.

Plant Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform diversified duties to maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment

  • Diagnose problems, repair/replace parts, and test
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance in accordance with the preventative maintenance program
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

The PCA is responsible for executing the activities of material planning and scheduling for the Soft Surfaces division, interacts closely with Procurement, Semi-Finished, and Finished Goods Planning, & scheduling to effectively plan and execute in accordance with the master schedules that meet our customers’ requirements.


  • Daily management of production and/or purchase orders to support internal and/or external customer needs
  • Escalation of internal and/or external vendor under-performance to supply chain and procurement teams.
  • Work collaboratively with supply chain and procurement to ensure inventory levels to support network lead times and mitigate risks in continuity of supply.
  • To continuously improve business processes in order to increase customer service performance (OTIF), proactively identify raw materials issues and work with internal and/or external vendors to expedite purchase and/or production orders as needed.
  • Conduct adhoc analysis of inventory & track KPIs that include vendor performance, days of supply, lead time adherence, and shop floor schedule adherence.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis of inventory stock outs and vendor late orders.
  • Build mutually beneficial relationships with vendors in order to maintain excellent service and create improvement opportunities.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or related field and/or applicable experience
  • APICS certification preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in a production planning, procurement or manufacturing environment
  • Production Scheduling, Inventory Management and Supply Planning experience preferred
  • CAMS/AS400, SAP or other ERP planning suites desired

Quality Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Master Production Scheduler for a direct hire position for our client located in Dalton, Ga.  The Master Production Scheduler will work with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales and Product Management to develop and manage forecast for long range material planning while considering current inventory, obsolescence, lead times, product life cycles and production capacity. Develop specific actions and ability to execute projects to drive improvements in the customer service experience including on time deliveries and reduced lead times.


  • Identify and implement system and process improvements within the supply chain to enable overall business process improvement balancing customer service, inventory, and plant efficiencies
  • Further develop existing forecast and supply programs to improve current days of inventory
  • Improve forecasting tools and procedures through application of innovative ideas and projects
  • Drive, promote and develop positive communication with Marketing and Sales to improve forecast accuracy
  • Work with Production Schedulers to establish weekly schedules based on the planning for all product lines based on customer orders and capacities
  • Work with Production Schedulers to adjust daily high-volume key sku’s as needed to prevent stock outs
  • Assist Production Schedulers to communicate schedule changes to all required associates
  • Analyze inventory levels and product demands to determine reorder levels and safety stocks that will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs
  • Provide reporting to support that inventory levels are in line at distribution center
  • Assist in the transfer of material to the distribution center based on transactions within SAP
  • Review and update all KPI targets and provide RCA on the missed items
  • Update all charting for Tier 2, KPI metrics for all scheduling practices
