HR GENERALIST – DALTON, GA

Quality Staffing, Inc. is seeking a HR Generalist that will report directly to the HR Manager for a large company located in Dalton, GA. This is a full-time 1st shift position.  Pay will be determined during the interview and is based on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Multi-site responsibility in the following areas:
    • Recruit and interview potential applicants for manufacturing plants.
    • Update job descriptions when needed.
    • Analyze staffing needs.
    • Organize and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding and training programs.
    • Explain and provide information on employee benefits and training programs.
    • Comply with all state and federal human resource requirements.
    • Maintain employee records and paperwork.
    • Answer employee questions and complete investigations of employee concerns including employee safety, culture, and communications as needed.
    • Actively engage with employees and supervisors on manufacturing floor.

Qualifications:

  • Possess superb written and spoken communication skills.
  • Possess ability to work independently with complete autonomy and integrity.
  • Self-assured and eagerness to learn and take initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building and employee relation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
  • HR applicants require a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or 3-5 years experience in Human Resources.
  • Specialized training in employment law, compensation, safety training, employee relations preferred.
  • General knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
